Apprently u are not connected to the new router or your router is not advertising an ip address.
look at these 2 addresses from ur first ipconfig at home and next one at foreign network: home > fe80::213:ceff:fe2d:ce2/64 Scope:Link foreign > fe80::213:ceff:fe2d:ce2/64 Scope:Link they are the same addresses. which means your are not connected to the new link or access point. please check that. in case u want to see if ur mobile ipv6 is working. try a wired link from ur mobile node to the home router/agent plug it out and plud it into the foreign network. if it works then something is up with your wireless access mechanism. try if it works. good luck rgds, Shariq --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > I had change to global IP-address (just replace fec0 > to 2001), but i have problem whenever i want to go > to visitnet, and same thing still happens (md_expire > router and destination unreachable). > > this is the ifconfig result on my MN wireless > interface before i change to visitnet network: > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# ifconfig eth1 > eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr > 00:13:CE:2D:0C:E2 > inet6 addr: 2001:106:2700::4/64 > Scope:Global > inet6 addr: fe80::213:ceff:fe2d:ce2/64 > Scope:Link > inet6 addr: > 2001:106:2700:0:213:ceff:fe2d:ce2/64 Scope:Global > UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 > Metric:1 > RX packets:2386 errors:0 dropped:0 > overruns:0 frame:0 > TX packets:216 errors:0 dropped:0 > overruns:0 carrier:0 > collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 > RX bytes:45716 (44.6 KiB) TX bytes:37337 > (36.4 KiB) > Interrupt:209 Base address:0xc000 > Memory:e0000000-e0000fff > > it goes accordingly to HOWTO documents.
