Hello, sniffering the Binding Updates (Mobile Node in visited network) on my Home Agent using Ethereal, the packets show a strange structure. The source address in the IPv6 header is the Home Address HoA of the Mobile Node and the Home Address in the Destination Option Header is the Care-of address CoA. Sniffering the Binding Update message on a router between the MN and the HA, the packet shows the correct structure (source address is the CoA and the Home Address in the Destination Option Header is the HoA).
The HA sends often a Binding Error message (error: unknown binding for home address destination option) together with a Binding Acknowledgement message (status: binding update accepted). Receiving these messages the Mobile Node stops MIPv6 operation. We are using a PC with a dual-core processor for the HA. Might this be a problem?
