In order to performe some tests you need to modify the MIPv6 stack in order to support transportation over IPv4 and also binding IPv4 addresses. AFAIK there is no any open source implementation for that, but you can check at http://www.nautilus6.org/ just in case. Some tests have also been done within the ENABLE project http://www.ist-enable.eu with good results.
