--------------- Hi, I managed to wedge (not brick) my Alpha 400 (tried to turn X11 back on but with without USB mouse driver). It boots, but init tries to fire up X11, can't, and reboots.
I believe I have the original recovery image. I've also picked up a Debian Etch recovery image off the net. But is there a 2.6 recovery image from the recent discussions which I might use? I only need text mode; in fact, a fixed keyboard driver so it didn't spontaneously insert garbage into the typing buffer would be the single biggest issue to see fixed. Text only work mode with WiFi is all I need.
