Hi, You may need to insmod additional kernel drivers to support 3G. The ones supported by ingenic kernel are ipw.ko(serial usb 3G UMTS TDD) and option.ko (serial usb GSM CDMA). I compiled them and put them here: http://projects.kwaak.net/twiki/pub/Epc700/KernelPort26Compiling/ipw26243.ko http://projects.kwaak.net/twiki/pub/Epc700/KernelPort26Compiling/option26243.ko If your modem is recognized with lsusb you maybe lucky to get it working with wvdial (debian lenny for mipsel 2.6.24.3). http://packages.debian.org/lenny/mipsel/wvdial/download check below info: http://itechlog.com/easy-tips/2008/12/04/3g-mobille-broadband-huawei-e156g-usb-dongle-on-linux/ http://www.marengo-ltd.com/blog/?p=62 Grt Ruben.
