Just to confirm, are you saying that: * Boot into bsd.rd without a monitor attached and no serial console, it hangs indefinitely. * Without doing anything else, just connecting a monitor, the system continues to boot normally. * With serial console connected, you observed that the framebuffer base address was being set to 0x00. Have I understood correctly, or is that not what is happening?
