You could try dropping to a shell in the installer and modifying install.md to remove the -c option to installboot: # sed -i.bak 's/installboot -cr/installboot -r/' install.md Do this before starting the installation, and use UEFI with GPT for this install. Let us know if it works or if anything changes.
