ifconfig(8) in -current has the lladdr command and can thus change the MAC
address on most Ethernet NICs. All the Ethernet drivers need testing with
this command, to weed out which drivers do the right thing and which ones do
not. So, if you have a need for this functionality in your environment then
please try this out.
