Hello guys, i sadly have a 60Gb external disk formatted to fat32.
After mounting the disk i try to cd to it's directories but X crashed.
Ctrl+alt+backspace would not work so i had to force shutdown.
On next boot, i mounted the disk again and (without X running),
tried to cd again and got:

and the computer crashed again.
Some more info that might help:
The disk was formatted to fat32 today using a linux live cd. I used a
live cd since my linux laptop was not able
to format the disk successfully(gparted and disk utility failed):
After "finishing" the format process it kept saying that the disk was
not formatted.
With the live cd it just worked(disk utility). It was recognized from
Desktop(OpenBSD) and laptop(linux).
The disk will work for OpenBSD but after using it under linux and
returning to OpenBSD the error above is produced.
If i create the fat32 partition under OpenBSD it will again mess the
filesystem after using it under linux.
So it seems like problems occur after i try to use the disk to OpenBSD
after a use under LInux.
Could it be that somehow linux messes the filesystem?
Or should i consider that the disk is almost dead?
Any ideas/advices?
