I believe this is the default behavior, to use channel 1, or, in your case, the first 5GHz channel which is 36. This probably can vary from card to card, firmware to firmware. Anyway, it's always better the declare the channel. -- Giancarlo Razzolini GPG: 4096R/77B981BC
