Saying that is useless. This diff is not intended to solve all the USB bugs you might have :/ If you have a bug, your best chance to have someone else look at it is to fill a bug report. The mail containing the diff has a clear description of the problem it is supposed to solve. Assuming that you have this problem with a GENERIC kernel, does running a kernel with the diff fix it for you? Does this diff creates new problems? That's the only two answers that help when testing a diff :)
