Now running the most recent snapshot. Doesn't seem to have been as
hard as I thought. sysmerge seems to have caught all the changes I
made under /etc and helped me keep them.

Trackpad is working. (And I guess it's time to start seeing if my
skills are anywhere close to good enough to add the 3290 driver.)
