On some NUC models everything works very well. On others there are some problems like X not working. The Intel compute sticks are pretty low power. Somewhere around 2.5W idle and around 9W under heavy CPU and GPU load. I'm not sure how far along video on those is yet though. (And by the time you add a hub and usb ethernet if you want to use an input device and don't want to rely on wifi, the amps start adding up..)
