I have had great success with 'Brother' brand printers. They support postscript 
very well. Another feature of them that I like is that I can print pdf files to 
them directly via lpd. 

Additionally, I like that they don't have any hard drive and/or permanent 
storage, which means that there is no ability for the printer to save your 
documents, which is nice as it means they can be sold or disposed of without 
worry about personal information being accessible. 

The model I have also supports uploading scanned documents to an FTP or SFTP 
server, which is great, as it allows me to have a working multifunction office 
printer with no drivers required.
