By the way, it's available in ports as mail/mlmmj.

It is in use for exactly that purpose on the bsd.lv server,
which serves the mailing lists in two distinct domains:

 - @mandoc.bsd.lv
 - @manpages.bsd.lv

The configuration is slightly quirky in so far as the configuration
files are not under /etc/, but below /var/spool/, totally mixed up
with all kinds of semi-permanent variable data (like subscriptions)
and also totally mixed up with outright spooling directories.

Documentation isn't exemplary, but sufficient to get it going.

Calling usage "joyful" is probably an exaggeration, but i'm not
aware of a better solution, and frankly, it is good enough for
usual purposes.

Yours,
  Ingo
