The simplest way to check for new updates for on an OpenBSD system is to run syspatch -c, or subscribe to the "announce" mailing list. If you want more than is already offered, you are free to scrape the errata webpages, parse the "www" repository (via anoncvs or the git conversion) errata files, etc.
