Hello,

I run into this problem now.

I'm with 7.7 with securelevel 2.

After some locked filesystem operations that I was not able to unlock by
killing them or
shoutdown X, I decided to press the power off to try almost to sync the disk
(that did't happened) and
rebooted actually I find myself in this situation:

wiz# mount /dev/sd2i /myfolder
..filesystem must be mounted read-only; you may need to run fsck

wiz# fsck -fy /dev/sd2i
/dev/rsd2i (NO WRITE)
filesystem is clean

I have no idea how to recover from the readonly status of the disk and
this "(NO WRITE)" is not promising as well.

Can you start explaining me also the possible cause of the problem? Thx..

Dan
