XAI tends to kind of drag their feet publishing the actual model parameters. The latest version of Grok you can run yourself is 2.5 and IME you really don't get a great bang for you book with these.
I've been running Alibaba's language models (qwen) on my machines, especially the small distills are very good for the resources they consume.
