the samsung ssd appears to fall into a deep sleep during idle and fails to wake 
up. the device remains visible in the system, but all i/o operations hang 
indefinitely until a hard reboot. this issue was not present in 7.7.
the system drive(amd ssd) is unaffected, likely because it is constantly active 
and never enters an idle sleep state. SMART data for the samsung drive shows an 
increasing POR_Recovery_Count, suggesting hardware resets or power loss on the 
link level.
has anyone else experienced similar regressions with samsung and gemini lake on 
7.8?
also: any tips on how to disable LPM/NCQ specifically for this drive without 
dropping the entire controller to sata1 mode(using ahci flag 0x1)?
