My bad, mine is the "H1n". [...] Out of curiousity, what happens if you select the 48kHz mode, and run sndiod with "-r 44100" ? Does it pick 44100 (ex. see sndiod "-dd" logs or audioctl during playback)? If so, do the files sound OK on another device?
