Something a little strange happened to me on June 7th, so I'd like to
explain what happened because I can't find a plausible reason.
On June 7th, I uninstalled the Firefox package, as shown in the
following log lines in /var/log/messages.

Jun 7 22:46:08 tredici /bsd: wsmouse0 at ums0 mux 0
Jun 7 23:36:14 tredici pkg_delete: Removed firefox-i18n-it-150.0
Jun 7 23:36:14 tredici pkg_delete: Removed firefox-151.0.3
Jun 7 23:46:09 tredici reboot: rebooted by ****

So, as you can see, I restarted the PC.
Upon reboot, I reinstalled Firefox, as can always be seen in the logs:

Jun 7 23:47:00 tredici smartd[30933]: Device: /dev/sd0c [SAT], no ATA
CHECK POWER STATUS support, ignoring -n Directive
Jun 7 23:47:22 tredici reorder_kernel: kernel relinking done
Jun 7 23:48:55 tredici pkg_add: Added firefox-150.0
Jun 7 23:48:58 tredici pkg_add: Added firefox-i18n-it-150.0
Jun 8 00:00:01 tredici syslogd[99014]: restart

But as you can see, the installation version is not the previous one.
As if there had been a downgrade. In fact, the previous version was
151.0.3, but the new package was 150.0.
So I went to the repository with my browser... and found that the
version 150.0 package was in packages, but there was no update package
in packages-stable.
More precisely, version 150.0 was found at the following URL:
https://cdn.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/7.9/packages/amd64/
but in the folder where I believe the updates should be, namely:

https://cdn.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/7.9/packages-stable/amd64/

version 151.0.3 was not present.
I also used ftp commands along with grep to get further confirmation.
And indeed, there was no Firefox package in packages-stable.
Unfortunately, ksh doesn't have a timestamp in its history, so I can't
reconstruct exactly when I typed the ftp+grep commands.
The next day, to get further confirmation, I took snapshots on
archive.org at the following URL:

https://web.archive.org/web/20260000000000*/https://cdn.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/7.9/packages-stable/amd64/

And it seems to me, but I'm not sure, that the package wasn't present
in the snapshot either.
However, rechecking the snapshot later, the package is present. So
either something strange is happening or I'm just very distracted and
made a mistake.
A few minutes ago, I tried removing Firefox again, restarting the PC,
and reinstalling the package, and I had no problems. The system
installed version 151.0.3.
I don't think there's anything else to add except that the package was
updated on June 9th:

Jun 7 23:48:55 thirteen pkg_add: Added firefox-150.0
Jun 7 23:48:58 thirteen pkg_add: Added firefox-i18n-it-150.0
Jun 9 06:12:27 thirteen pkg_add: Added firefox-150.0->151.0.3

Does anyone have an explanation for what happened?
Maybe there was a downgrade? Or some problem with the servers?

Thank you so much and have a nice.
Luigi.
