I'd rather not compile emacs from source right now, but here are two guesses: 1. the compilation doesn't use the same CFLAGS in the port and in the git main branch 2. the automatic loading of additional gdb helpers eats a lot of ram > Maybe I need some of the patches from > /usr/ports/editors/emacs/patches/ 🤷 I doubt you'll find answers in those patches.
