one of these days my ed knowledge is going to stick. When I need to recover a broken system I sometimes boot bsd.rd. It doesn't have vim or anything like that but it does have ed. Last time I used this I had to edit my fstab. I forget how to use ed so quickly. How do you recover your systems?
