The 150-2 is hardware RAID but has little management. I think it's an
auto RAID-1 setup, don't know what types of notifications it does. I
have a 150-6 for a home project and the docs that come with it have a
matrix comparing the features of the 150-2, 150-4, and 150-6. And I
think the 150-2 is discontinued.
Unfortunately the box I was going to use the 150-6 on won't boot with
it installed. It gets to the LSI copyright, flashes INITIALIZING
FIRMWARE once on the next line, and then doesn't continue. The card
works fine in various computers here at work. I'm in the process of
upgrading the mobo on the home computer so I can set up a little NAS
backup box with the 150-6.
Damien, sorry about the double message.
