I have a Dell 600M (i386) that has an intel ipw2100 wireless card.
I've run Windows and Linux on it and was able to access my wireless home network which is wpa encrypted.
Now I'm running OpenBSD 4.4 and can't seem to get it to work.
I've read the ipw man page and downloaded and installed the driver packages I need for the card.
When I run the ifconfig command I see the ipw0 interface.
According to the ifconfig man page, I have to enable the wpa protocol, so I run this command.

ifconfig ipw0 wpa

but I get this error.

ifconfig: SIOCS80211WPAPARMS: Operation not supported by device

Why do I get this error? I know this device supports wpa because when I had Window, or Linux running on it, it would work fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
