The way I did it was to boot /bsd.rd and then do an installation to the USB key but installing a single set, "bsd.rd", and only that set. Then after booting back to the regular system mounted the stick and added /etc/boot.conf by hand. What I'd like to do eventually is set up grub or something so I have a menu to choose the different options 4.3, 4.4, release, stable, current, i386, amd64, etc. Regards, -Lars
