and it isn't indeed. after a fresh reboot:
amaaq$ ifconfig lii0|grep lladdr
lladdr 00:fe:e1:ba:d0:ff
while dmesg still shows the wrong one.
looks like a bona fide bug in lii0 initialisation and/or acpi?
might even explain why i need to put the thing into promisc mode
to pass packets...
