Instead of exit, you type quit and it will save the changes, oppose to
exit that do not.
That method does not work!

Just FYI, in the FAQ it does saw in the first paragraph at the start of
the second line "These changes will then take place on your next reboot.".
So no it's not possible. If there is one thing I learn over the year is
the choice of words Nick pick is very important to make the
documentation as short as possible and precise as possible too. He has a
way with words that I could only dream of achieving one day, but as
everyone know reading my posting, that will never be!
Here reboot really mean "reboot", so no it will not be active right then.
