That's pretty amazing, isn't it? Why is it hard to believe that reframing a potential solution as "here's a diff" instead of "I broke my system as root and you need to take time out of your day to help me" will get better results? Sure, the diff may get rejected, but at least you're showing a touch bit more effort than the effort it takes to fire up your e-mail client.
