Yes this code is from me. If you have some feedback, I'm happy to get
some.

I have no private GH account, so I can't anwser there. I have seen
the issue, but I have no clue what the problem is. Do you know at
which point[0] it hangs?

I have no openbsd box[1] ready to test and I have currently not that
mutch time. I'll look at it as soon as possible.

[0] you can add some more log messages, this is anyway necesary.
[1] I primary test on debian stable, because there the mailserver runs for 
which I fixed table-ldap
