you should not load the driver with "modprobe hfcmulti" but with misdn-init start.

could you post here the output of dmesg after you have loaded the modules with misdn-init start, and also the output of misdnportinfo.

Hi,
I'm triyng to use a junghanns quadbri 2.0 (the new one with hw watchdog) with chan_misdn. "misdn-init scan" seems to find the card and "misdn-init start" loads the hfcmulti module but asterisk fails to load chan_misdn.so. Does anybody know if hfcmulti modules works correctly with quadbri 2.0 boards ?
Thanks.

what's the failure message?

Thank you for your answer.
This is what happens:
........
Some more infos:
"lspci -v" tells me:
........
00:0d.0 ISDN controller: Cologne Chip Designs GmbH ISDN network Controller [HFC-4S] (rev 01)
Subsystem: Cologne Chip Designs GmbH Unknown device b550
       Flags: medium devsel, IRQ 5
       I/O ports at dc00 [size=8]
       Memory at ee01d000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=4K]
Capabilities: [40] Power Management version 2
........

but after a "modprobe hfcmulti" in /var/log/messages appears:

Dec 16 09:48:16 slacksterisk kernel: mISDN: HFC-multi driver Rev. 1.56
Dec 16 09:48:16 slacksterisk kernel: 0 devices registered

The 0 devices registered doesn't seem a good sign. Am I right ?
