At some point, it needs to be made glaringly apparent to the government that the HSUS is NOT the expert on animal welfare anymore, that most of the employees have absolutely no valid credentials that would make them experts of any kind in terms of animal care or husbandry.
What always annoys me the most with these raids is that the phrase "....after a lengthy investigation....." as if that somehow proves the validity of seizing the dogs. In most cases, there is no need to conduct any kind of lengthy investigation. It is what it is- abuse and neglect are obvious, "lengthy investigation" means that someone had to watch the premesis for a while to scrounge up anything they could use against the owners.
