Hi everyone
I am trying out MITK and ran into a small problem when compiling. My system
is a 64bit OpenSuse machine with QT 4.4.3, VTK 5.4.2 and ITK 3.16 and Cmake
The MITK files configure correctly on CMAKE but when I run "make" I get the
following message
/usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.3/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld:
/usr/local/lib/InsightToolkit/libitkzlib.a(gzio.o): relocation R_X86_64_32
against `a local symbol' can not be used when making a shared object;
recompile with -fPIC
/usr/local/lib/InsightToolkit/libitkzlib.a: could not read symbols: Bad
value
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [bin/libmitkIpPic.so] Error 1
make[1]: *** [Utilities/ipPic/CMakeFiles/mitkIpPic.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2
Any suggestions?
