Yes, I wanted to suggest the same. It can be done even from an other
plugin. I think this would be a useful improvement. If you want to do
that, you could eventually clone my fork and check out the commit that
I have linked, and add the code there.
Then the MITK guys can easily integrate it to the upstream. Are you on
GitHub?
