Sorry, then I did not understand what you want exactly.
What do you mean under setting the editing behavior? The items were editable
by double click, I thought you want to disable this. This is done by only
one function invocation, the rest of the patch adds a nrw context menu item
with for renaming the node.
Now the double click expands and collapses the subtree.
