Thank you for the response.

I'll try to be more specific regarding my needs:
- I need a tool that will take my input (a geometry: line) and will
represent the MRI's slices which are "going through" this geometry.
In that way, the perpendicular slices to the input geometry will be shown
correspondingly (like a car on the road).

During the rendering the geometry used to set the parameters (the plane)
for the vtkImageReslice and the result is rendered onto the screen.
Is it possible to add as an actor my MRI image (not a surface)? if yes, I
can use this.

please don't hesitate to suggest solutions that require more then just one
filter.

I searched a little and found this filter: SliceNavigationController...
(maybe that's the solution?)
