Hi Hila,
if you want align the images after the TDI generation your last idie
should work just fine. You simply take on pixel of the TDI (in physical
coordinates) and tranform it to index coordinates using the geometry of
your target image.
I will check again if we can reproduce Bug 11689.

I think that the reason for this error is a lack of space in my
computer (the .fib file weight 28KB). (although, there was a time
when I succeeded to get the TDI with that size of .fib file)
In this case, what I can do in order to solve this problem?- any
technical solution (to release space? - *where?*)...
