Dear all,

we just integrated a change to DicomSeriesReader, which now allows us to
load/display images from tilted gantries (image blocks are then sheared)
into a single mitk::Image (see http://bugs.mitk.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11106).

This feature enables handling such images in a much more "normal" way
with MITK, e.g. segmentation or measurements.

To achieve this, the loader now corrects the result of
itk::ImageSeriesReader by applying a shear transform.

We have tested this code with a number of synthetic and clinical images
but since real DICOM images contain surprises from time to time, we are
curious for more feedback.

If you work with such images, I would like to ask you to try the new
loader and give us feedback. Currently the implementation is still fresh
and could be corected easily.

Kind regards
Daniel
