Hi Frida,

generally it is suggested to use QmitkAbstractView instead of the
QmitkFunctionality, which is slowly phased out. If you are interested in why
you can take a look at [1]. This page also explains the differences in
available API.

Will this answer your question?

Best,
Caspar

Betreff: [mitk-users] how to use QmitkFunctionality from a plugin?

Hi,

I hope there is somebody in a cool office instead of a beach or mountain peak
and reads emails...

I need to implement a rigid registration plugin based on MI, the only thing
which would be "new" an optimization algorithm.

I saw that, the existing registration plugins and more other plugins are
inherited from this wonderful QmitkFunctionality which apparently would make my
life more easier...
The only problem is, that I didn't find a way how to using it.
(I have a generated plugin by MITKPluginGenerator which is an
QmitkAbstractView... and doesn't want to "see" the QmitkFunctionality :((( )

Can somebody, help me, please?
Any help, trick, tip is very appreciated.

Thank you in advance,
Frida
