Hi,

this sounds like you are looking for a UI testing framework. In CTK 
there is QtTesting library which aims at recording all (well, *all* is 
relative...) user interaction and playing it back during some kind UI 
unit test. There are also a few commercial tools like Squish. Is that 
what you were thinking about?
