hi all?

I have a problem about ?Use the MITK project template as an example project?.
I have done "configure" and "generate" of CMake and open
"D:\AwesomeProject-superbuild\AwesomeProject-superbuild.sln" . Visual Studio
should appear and by pressing F7 you start the compilation.
when MITK have downloaded by git, it will be show a error: "fatal: This
operation must be run in a work tree". I don't konw how to fix it.

I am using the following versions:
Windows 7;MITK 2013.10.04;QT 4.8.4;Visual Studio 2010;CMake 2.8.11;Git 1.8.3

Thanks in advance,
Ce Ma

Hi Ce Ma,

I am not entirely sure I understand you problem.

Are you using the source version of MITK as can be downloaded here [1], so MITK
2013.09.0 I presume? Or are you using git to get the latest master as described
at [2]. You can not mix the two, as the downloaded archive is not a git
directory.

Have you build MITK successfully by itself, not using your own project as
described here [3]?

Are you following the instructions for your own project from the MITK
documentation [4] to download MITK automatically for your project? Or are you
using a self-build external MITK?

Is the problem:

1) Git not working

2) The MITK build failing

3) MITK does not start

Best,
Caspar
