Hi Hongzhi, yes, you will need the BlueBerry framework as it provides the application framework for MITK. One way to start with developing without worrying too much about learning the ins and outs directly is by using the MITK-ProjectTemplate[1]. Which provides an example application you can then adapt to your own needs when you feel confident to do so.
