Hi Caspar,
it also happens in the mitkWorkbench ;) so I asume that it is a bug in QT5.4. And not only on my machine!
I will dig into it once I have time. Good to know though that nobody else sees that crash.

I cannot remember that happening to me. Does this happen for the “vanilla” MITK Workbench or your modified version?

Just a quick question:
My workbench every once in a while stops during startup in vtkOpenGLRenderWindow::GetZbufferData(...) line 1440:
// Error checking
// Must clear previous errors first.
while(glGetError() != GL_NO_ERROR)
{
;
}
The application doesn't respond, shows a white window and I have to restart it.
Does this happen to others as well?
