Hi,
I think you are looking for the Screenshot Maker Plugin. The documentation is
short on the MITK website, and I unfortunately doesn't have the complete MITK
distribution installed on my side, but I think it is the plugin under the
camera icon.

You can use it to extract 2D slices as images from the 3D volume.

TIFF using MITK. But there are only 5 options available: NRRD, NIFTI, VTK, VTK
