Hello Guillaume,

there is no module / plugin specifically to measure (fat) fractions. However,
depending on what exactly you need to do, the tools might be there.

You can load an existing segmentation or (semi-)manually create one in the MITK
Workbench, and get the volume of that segmentation using the Statistics view.
Based on that, you could calculate, by hand, the fraction of volumes from
different segmentations. Is this what you need, or do you require something
else for the fat fraction?

Best regards,

Stephen

Betreff: [Extern] - [mitk-users] fat fraction measurement

Dear all,

I'm a PhD student from Belgium working on the interaction between liver and
skeletal muscle.
I investigate the muscle fat content using 3T MRI from GE healthcare and its
IDEAL-IQ sequence.
Is it possible to measure the fat fraction of muscles manually segmented using
MITK ? Is there a module already existing ?

Thanks a lot,
