It seems that the project that used to be advanced tagging has changed to a
different name, "Advanced Track Management / Organization Tools", and the
focus has shifted a bit. As far as I can tell, the main focus is now on the
GUI editor for single/multiple tracks, rather than writing tags to file,
correct? Does this project still entail writing tags to file though?, as I
see that the code for writing tags with taglib is already there, but that
there is a critical bug keeping this from being enabled
https://bugs.launchpad.net/mixxx/+bug/728197.
Would any metadata changes made using this editor be solely written to
mixxx's own database?
For bulk edits, is it typically the case that the selected tracks belong to
a single album, or would this be for rapid editing for multiple unrelated
tracks? What I mean by this is that should the user try a bulk edit, should
a single value be taken for some tag, e.g. album name, and be written to
all tracks (typical of standalone tagging software), or should it take a
new value for each track?
