Hi Eric,
I think you hit a sore point of Mixxx you can focus on if you like.
MIxxx internal supports unlimited Cue points. But only 4 hotcues and the
main cue are exposed to the user. These 5 cue points are very volatile
and you can easy mess up proper set cue points during a gig.
I am personal not using the hot-cues, so I am not the best person to
explain use cases. But you can watch Youtube tutorials about it or maybe
you find a user on this list or at the forum with special ideas.
My idea is a set of cues as a persistent preset, changeable with cue
points during the set. A waveform based visualization is also an options.
But we should verify this with real DJs.
But this is only one point you can focus on. Maybe you should look for a
focus with on your own demand.
