I switch the code back to using Pa_StopStream() last night and I want to know if anyone gets a deadlock when NOT using vinyl control. It should be fixed now. There's a bit of a wait when you change your soundcard settings if you're using vinyl control now, but that's life. I'll take a look at it again after beta1. > Adam > > On 07/12/2007, Adam Davison <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > 1) The library will load a different song then the one you click on after > > > sorting by artist!!!! > > > > Also when searching. Drag and drop still works though (at least on Ubuntu, OS X, and Win2k), although that probably tell you nothing. We had this library sorting/searching problem before at the end of the summer and Micah ended up fixing it I believe. There's this WTrackTableFilter class that's used somehow. > > > > > > > > 2) The number of channels available in the sound prefs dialog for channel > > > selection on a sound card appears to be different from that sound card ( > > > i.e. if you have a herc like me, but you have a 2 channel onboard sound, > > > you > > > can only set your herc to channels 1-2 for Master and Headphone (3-4 is > > > not > > > an option in the box)). > > > > Is this our fault or PortAudio's, I know you were trying to get this > > ds multichannel patch into pa. Did it ever happen? One other related bug which seems to have appeared is that you can't use two soundcards for output and a third for input anymore. There's some nasty buffer overrun or something that happens when you try it. (This isn't a blocker, but it's definitely tracker worthy.)
