Nope.
I upgraded scons to 0.97.0d20071212-3 which is the most recent release 
in the debian testing repository.
I deleted my previous downloaded SVN folder and restarted the procedure 
in the wiki (http://mixxx.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/SVN_Repository) 
but I'm still getting the same error:
