After doubting if the problem was on my side :-) I decided to edit the
python script and do away with the GL checks. Also I had to set the
QTDIRs manually, even the script saying the it's an option for win32 only
(#if not platform == linux ...).

That is because I have qt4 at /opt/qt4 (which I told scons of course,
with qtdir=/opt/qt4) and pkg-config will report wrong info. You should be aware 
of this problem.

After that fight, I was able to compile and link, but now scons aborts in the 
very end of the script:

I know it compiled OK because I have the mixxx binary under src/.obj/mixxx.

What's going wrong here and how should I move forward?
